“Do not try and bend the spoon. That would be impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth…What truth? There is no spoon… Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.” The Matrix

Ivano’s Italian Restaurant (Sandpoint, Id.) Friday/Saturday eve’s, 6 pm close up tableside magic!
The event is held in Sandpoint at the Fairgrounds from 10 PM and lasts until approx. 4 AM. I perform 3 stage shows throughout the night and mingle with the graduates sharing close-up magic and uplifting motivational messages from the M.A.G.I.C. Program . It’s always FUN for everyone and a great send off into their new life.
We lived and worked in Las Vegas, NV. for 15 years. It was an honor to work with quite literally some of the best entertainers in the world! Most definitely an experience that I will never forget. On the challenging side, most casinos require a six day work schedule, which leaves very little for a personal life. If you don’t like it … there’s a long line of performers who would love to take your “spot”. To be at Excalibur for 3 years from that perspective I have to say, it was fantastic! What a memory! Here are a few highlights.
1995 – 2000 – Las Vegas, Nevada
Excalibur Hotel Casino – Royal Court Magician, Wandering Wizard
3 yrs. (Strolling, Jester’s Stage, tableside, events, MC, receptions)
Ricardo’s Mexican Restaurant MGM (tableside, parties – 3 years)
Sharing the M.A.G.I.C. Program in local Boys and Girls Clubs of Las Vegas, after school Safe Key program for Clark County, youth programs and family shelters. This is my most rewarding of experiences, working with youth programs and seeing a “light” go on! I performed at more than 12 Boys & Girls Clubs, teaching magic. The M.A.G.I.C. Program was accepted and performed for more than 27 after school programs called Safe Key and we scheduled 72 more. The recession in Las Vegas caused a shortage of funds, they cancelled all the programs. I continue to write and develop the online version, teaching through video.
“Star Alexander came to our school, mesmerized the students performing wonderful magic while teaching them life lessons. Students were easily able to connect the stunning tricks to his points about work ethic, dreams, determination and more. We enjoyed every second of his presence and can’t wait to have him back!” Jackie Burt – Orsch 2009, Gunnison, CO
Crested Butte, CO Mt. Theater, special guest appearances (2) for the youth program entitled “Acting Up“. This was a wonderful opportunity to share self esteem issues with “magical examples”. Showmanship, stage fright, learning your lines or making mistakes are all implementing the M.A.G.I.C. Program .
